Hiiiii !! I recently found out that I have multiple readers so if that’s you, hola !! I’m so happy to have you here and I’m so blessed that people actually feel excited to read my posts! I’ve recently started taking my social media more seriously. I’ve always wanted to be a blogger and after thinking about it, I was like, what’s stopping me? NOTHING ! So here I am, trying to make it in the blogging world 🙂
Anyways, to the point of today’s post! I figured it would be a great idea to write down my goals for this next year and how I hope to obtain them, because dreams are obtainable with a plan and tons and tons of prayer! So without further ado….
1. I want to grow my following, and be making an income from social media by this time next year. I’ll be totally transparent with y’all, I have struggled with what I’m passionate about that can also make me money. I love making people feel good about themselves and with my current job, I get a little bit of that. But my ultimate goal is to serve people in the way I see other bloggers serve me. These girls may not know it, but some of their positive demeanors and love for Christ is so inspiring! There’s a plethora of bloggers who don’t lift up and inspire, and that’s fine! You do you gf!! But I hope to create a comfy space by sharing my life, being transparent, and also talking about clothes and makeup, skincare, recipes, and just navigating our early 20s together!
2. STOP LIVING PAYCHECK TO PAYCHECK! Let’s face it, money is hard. Saving is hard. Before we moved I was a superstar with saving, I’d treat myself a decent amount but without big ticket bills (*cough cough* rent) I could throw tons of money in my savings and well… that just doesn’t happen anymore. I want us to get to a place where we can pay off debt and start seeing our savings grow again. I know being financially comfortable means nothing when it comes down to it, our relationship with Jesus is the main thing. But it would be nice to have some money tucked away for emergencies so we don’t have to consult the bank of mom and dad. I told y’all, I’m being transparent here.
3. Love others more than I did this year. I grew big time in my faith this year. I’ve talked about that before. Having nothing to cling to but the Hope of Jesus really puts things in perspective. Relying on Him more taught me to love others more, something I’ve truly struggled with. I want to continue growing in this love for others, and continue sharing the gospel by doing so. I’ve prayed so hard over certain individuals this year, and I want to continue doing so. I want to start taking weekly prayer requests because honestly, the best way to love someone is to pray for them!
4. Stop eating junk. So cliche but so true haha. Being responsible for cooking all of our meals now has made Uber eats our bff. And that is NOT okay!! I want to cook more of our meals in 2019, and I want to make them a little healthier than in 2018 (ahem, less pasta and quesadillas). I’ve always loved to cook but when it becomes a responsibility as opposed to a hobby, things change! I want to step outside of my comfort zone and try new things!
So those are my goals for this year! I hope everyone had a magical Christmas! What are your goals for 2019? What can I write about to help you?
Until next time, love y’all!
